When Dr. Symbas sat with a mirror in front of me and asked if I was prepared to see what initial removal of melanoma from my nose would look like I replied..”should I”. I was disfigured. The first surgery had been done in the process of Slow Mos by the dermatologist’s office. I was sent to Dr. Symbas to repeat the surgery for precautions and then to rebuild my nose. Nobody could have been more patient, reassuring and professional to answer all of my fears, questions and options. The entire staff were kind and efficient. It has only been three weeks…..since the skin graft to rebuild the damage… but already I am not just hopeful but confident. I sing his praises and thank him for his expertise.
