Dr. Ghazi hails from Atlanta, where he spent 8 years training at the world-renowned and internationally respected Emory University. Dr. Ghazi’s main concern is for you the patient and he will work tirelessly to bring you outstanding, individualized results that are delivered in a manner of comfort, safety and with a warm smile. His medical interests range from cosmetic surgery for the breasts, body and face as well as breast and body reconstruction.

During his time with the Emory University Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery Division, Dr. Ghazi was fortunate to have worked and trained under some of the most well-known masters in the fields of cosmetic and reconstructive surgery, allowing him to offer you the “best of the newest techniques” as well as traditional approaches from those who helped define the modern field of Plastic Surgery.
Dr. Ghazi has a long history of leadership and research and has authored numerous publications in Plastic Surgery journals and textbooks, and has presented at many scientific meetings on subjects dealing with cosmetic breast surgery, cancer surgery of the breasts, and reconstruction of the breasts after mastectomy, as well as reconstruction of the chest and lower extremity. Recently, Dr. Ghazi was part of an award-winning research team demonstrating the efficacy of a funnel device in reducing bacterial contamination during Breast Augmentation.
Recently, Dr. Ghazi received an award for the best surgical innovation of 2014. Dr. Ghazi is a founder of AcCellerate Skin Rejuvenation System, which uses patients’ stem cells to enhance healing after a procedure.

Dr.Symbas is one of the best doctors I have ever came in contact with. I felt like a family member not just a patient. The entire staff from Sarah, Kerry, and Megan was wonderful. When I was diagnosed with early stage breast cancer which would lead to a double mastectomy I felt like I was in the twilight zone. When I met Dr Symbas I knew that I had found the surgeon for my reconstruction – he is warm and kind, looked me in the eye with confidence and listened to what I wanted to do. He booked me within three weeks. I chose to reduce in size dramatically and he was more than up to the challenge. Dr Symbas is an incredible surgeon and I couldn’t be happier with the results. My mother (who may need a similar procedure) said that seeing me post surgery allayed her fears that she would be disfigured. He’s that good. Just as importantly, every person in the office was friendly, kind, attentive and knowledgeable. I truly felt cared for by everyone I met and am so grateful for that. Dr. Symbas and his staff are phenomenal! From the first point of contact with Cari scheduling my consultation she was very professional and flexible with finding a date that worked with my schedule. Sarah is more than amazing!! Sarah responds promptly to calls and emails and handled all of my insurance questions and concerns. Nurse Cindy is the BEST!! Cindy is personable, caring, very knowledgeable, and willing to help however she can. Jess answered all of my questions and made me feel comfortable. It has been almost a year since Dr. Symbas done my breast reduction and i’m still loving his work!!! I was referred to him by my friend and her mother who also had a breast reduction and other procedures (which they love) done by Symbas. His staff is super friendly and helpful.
