Dr. Ghazi hails from Atlanta, where he spent 8 years training at the world-renowned and internationally respected Emory University. Dr. Ghazi’s main concern is for you the patient and he will work tirelessly to bring you outstanding, individualized results that are delivered in a manner of comfort, safety and with a warm smile. His medical interests range from cosmetic surgery for the breasts, body and face as well as breast and body reconstruction.

During his time with the Emory University Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery Division, Dr. Ghazi was fortunate to have worked and trained under some of the most well-known masters in the fields of cosmetic and reconstructive surgery, allowing him to offer you the “best of the newest techniques” as well as traditional approaches from those who helped define the modern field of Plastic Surgery.
Dr. Ghazi has a long history of leadership and research and has authored numerous publications in Plastic Surgery journals and textbooks, and has presented at many scientific meetings on subjects dealing with cosmetic breast surgery, cancer surgery of the breasts, and reconstruction of the breasts after mastectomy, as well as reconstruction of the chest and lower extremity. Recently, Dr. Ghazi was part of an award-winning research team demonstrating the efficacy of a funnel device in reducing bacterial contamination during Breast Augmentation.
Recently, Dr. Ghazi received an award for the best surgical innovation of 2014. Dr. Ghazi is a founder of AcCellerate Skin Rejuvenation System, which uses patients’ stem cells to enhance healing after a procedure.

Thursday May 12 2022 I went to Dr Ghazi office to get a fill of 100cc on my expanders. Dr Ghazi did reconstruction surgery after I had a double mastectomy in March. Before I started this Journey I was very nervous and self-conscious to go to any Dr because I’m a over weight 60 year old. I was referred to Dr. Symbas by a friend. After wanting a breast reduction for many years, I finally took the time out of busy mom life to get it done. In February of 2021, I had a breast reduction. The surgery went so well I decided maybe it was time to do a tummy tuck. After many, many hours in the gym and all the dieting, there was just one place on my body that would not budge not matter what. A year and some change after my breast reduction I was finally able to take care of this “alien” part of me. I am a week post op and I’m very happy with the results. I know I still have some recovery ahead of me, but I can say without a doubt, I’m so happy I did it. Dr. Symbas is a wonderful, caring doctor who knows what he is doing. His staff is equally as kind. My only regret is that I did not do it sooner. So I recommend to any person out there that may be thinking about a reduction or mommy makeover, to at least go for a consultation. It’s so worth it! You are worth it!
