Dr Symbas has been amazing from the first phone conversation. My results were sent to him directly from the ER. By the time we had our first office appointment, every detail of my necessary surgeries was in place. Surgeries were scheduled extremely fast by Sarah, his surgery coordinator. Dr Symbas is the most compassionate doctor or surgeon I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. He is kind and caring, his bedside manner is unparalleled. I had several consultations and he is the ONLY surgeon that spent more than 10 minutes with me. He spent a total of two+ hours with me during two consultations. There are not enough good things I can say about Dr. Symbas and his staff. I came to him after I got a recommendation from a family friend and had several frustrating consultations with other plastic surgeons, and was pleasantly surprised with how great my appointment with Dr. Symbas went. He has the best bedside manner of any health care provider I have ever worked with. Not only did he answer my (numerous) questions patiently and kindly, when I asked to call my mom during my pre-op so she could ask him questions as well, he answered her just as graciously. He made me and my family feel very comfortable with the procedure and prepared with outcomes and post-op care. His staff was also phenomenal. They made sure to call or email me almost every other day to make sure I was updated about my case with the insurance. I appreciated this so much. It made me feel like I had advocates that I could trust handling my surgery. Not only are his bedside manner, pre-operative care, and staff excellent, I am beyond elated at the results of my surgery.
