Dr. Ghazi hails from Atlanta, where he spent 8 years training at the world-renowned and internationally respected Emory University. During his time with the Emory University Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery Division, Dr. Ghazi was fortunate to have worked and trained under some of the most well-known masters in the fields of cosmetic and reconstructive surgery, allowing him to offer you the “best of the newest techniques” as well as traditional approaches from those who helped define the modern field of Plastic Surgery.
Dr. Ghazi has a long history of leadership and research and has authored numerous publications in Plastic Surgery journals and textbooks, and has presented at many scientific meetings on subjects dealing with cosmetic breast surgery, cancer surgery of the breasts, and reconstruction of the breasts after mastectomy, as well as reconstruction of the chest and lower extremity. Recently, Dr. Ghazi was part of an award-winning research team demonstrating the efficacy of a funnel device in reducing bacterial contamination during Breast Augmentation.
Recently, Dr. Ghazi received an award for the best surgical innovation of 2014. Dr. Ghazi is a founder of AcCellerate Skin Rejuvenation System, which uses patients’ stem cells to enhance healing after a procedure.

I visited the office of Dr Bahair Ghazi in Atlanta this week. The office is lovely with a relaxing atmosphere. The staff are friendly, helpful and welcoming. Although Dr Ghazi doesn’t perform the type surgery I was interested in on breast cancer patient’s who’ve undergone breast reconstruction with latissimus dorsi flap, he took time with me to explain the potential risks and outcomes of the procedure. As a former nurse who’s worked with many physicians, I was highly impressed with him. He was kind, honest and straightforward in his answers to my questions. If you are considering cosmetic surgery on breast, face or body, consider Dr Ghazi and his team. You will be treated with respect and professionalism.
Dr Symbas, his medical assistants, and staff are simple amazing. The experience was nothing short of exceptional. As soon as you walk into their office, you are met with a friendly welcome and professionals who understand the emotional as well as the medical side of providing care. I don’t often give a five star rating but this one is well deserved. Dr. Ghazi is a wonderful surgeon, he is empathetic and patient but primarily supremely competent. I recently had a partial mastectomy and reconstruction, the work was beautiful and at one month out there is minimal scarring. The office staff is supportive, discreet and all Covid precautions are observed.
