Dr. Ghazi hails from Atlanta, where he spent 8 years training at the world-renowned and internationally respected Emory University. Dr. Ghazi’s main concern is for you the patient and he will work tirelessly to bring you outstanding, individualized results that are delivered in a manner of comfort, safety and with a warm smile. His medical interests range from cosmetic surgery for the breasts, body and face as well as breast and body reconstruction.

During his time with the Emory University Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery Division, Dr. Ghazi was fortunate to have worked and trained under some of the most well-known masters in the fields of cosmetic and reconstructive surgery, allowing him to offer you the “best of the newest techniques” as well as traditional approaches from those who helped define the modern field of Plastic Surgery.
Dr. Ghazi has a long history of leadership and research and has authored numerous publications in Plastic Surgery journals and textbooks, and has presented at many scientific meetings on subjects dealing with cosmetic breast surgery, cancer surgery of the breasts, and reconstruction of the breasts after mastectomy, as well as reconstruction of the chest and lower extremity. Recently, Dr. Ghazi was part of an award-winning research team demonstrating the efficacy of a funnel device in reducing bacterial contamination during Breast Augmentation.
Recently, Dr. Ghazi received an award for the best surgical innovation of 2014. Dr. Ghazi is a founder of AcCellerate Skin Rejuvenation System, which uses patients’ stem cells to enhance healing after a procedure.

Dr Ghazi is wonderful! He performed a breast reduction on me and I couldn’t be happier. I had a little bit of keloid scarring after a year and he performed a scar revision surgery that was excellent as well.
Dr. John Symbas did an extraordinary job with my post lumpectomy breast reconstruction. I was very anxious going into surgery, especially about scarring and appearance, but the results are beautiful and healing so well. What could have been a large defect was reconstructed with remarkable skill and care. What truly stood out to me was Dr. Symbas’s kindness and reassurance. First impressions are everything. For my first appointment/consultation I was running late. I think I was maybe ten mins away when I received a call from Dr. Ghazi’s office. It was Shannon, and she was making sure I knew where they were located and if I was making the appointment. It’s so true that you can hear a smile over the phone. That phone call put me at ease. When finally arriving to my consultation, (I live in Dallas by the way) I was greeted cheerfully and was quickly called back by Nurse Jodi. We went over what I was looking to have done. And she went over some options and then I met Dr. Ghazi. Dr Ghazi went over what I was wanting to have done. He was showing me in a mirror what the outcome would be. He was so focused on like an artist. He answered all my questions and concerns. I felt like I would be in good hands. Dr Symbas and his team are the best! I had a double mastectomy in 2011 and had to have my implants changed out. My surgeon no longer was practicing and Dr Symbas came highly recommend by my Oncologist! He did not disappoint. He was amazing, his team helped relieve my anxiety and the surgery was a success!
